Help Android Camera isn't working (help....)

Hi all, I have the cell phone LG Optimus T™ with Google™ - Titanium. My camera hasn't been working for a long time.

Behavior:

-Open camera app on cell
-When you hit the button to take a picture, it freezes afterwards and does not take a picture. Then the app freezes altogether.

Solution:
-I've tried, restarting, killing the app, taking out my sim card, all the normal things you'd think of.

Anyone have any solutions to this problem?

Thank you

Have you tried clearing data and cache on the camera app? Its a shot in the dark, but does help with other app issues.

I'm going to move this to the Optimus T forum. Lets see if folks familiar with your device can help out.:)

Try pulling the battery then hold the power button down for 30 seconds. This is called a soft reset.
If that doesn't work and your not rooted then try the Factory reset option in the privacy menu. This will wipe all user data, so before you do this download App Tyrant from the Play Store. It will allow you to save all your apps to the sd card. When you first open it up it will scan and save every downloaded app to the sd card, then any app that is downloaded after that will be Auto saved the sd card.
Then transfer all the contents of the sd card to folder on a PC.
This app will save every app/apk you downloaded, this also means that if you update an app and it doesn't work right, then all you have to do is go into the apk section and restore the old good apk (you might need to go thru and delete all the older versions of an apk from time to time as they build up).
