Android CPU/CHIPSET QUESTIONS

Hi everyone, Austin here.
I'm wondering about a specific question in mind. If anyone could get back to me and reply it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 😃
(Wondering if I can change the chipset/cpu in a modern smartphone)

Hmmmm my answer would be no to that . reason is the motherboard has the ril and the ESN and imei is programmed in the board

Not to different chips. Even if they physically fit and you were highly skilled at soldering, there are other supporting components that likely need to be changed. Plus, then you've gotta find a compatible ROM for your Frankenphone. IOW simply not practical.

Okay okay. Specifically in this case I'm talking about HTC One M8 and or mini 2 or any of those. And changing it with a snapdragon 810 when it becomes available hopefully (am getting hundreds of thousands of dollars) and want to have a complete bad ass phone

Not going to be realistically possible.

You're better off waiting for the next flagship that supports that chip and buying that.

On the PC and laptops it's easy just a spring loaded cover
Now I just found out you can not do this to a tablet either . me thinking that a dell tablet with windows on it yes the 32 . the answer is no
