android emulator wifi

Quick question, what is the appropriate forum for android emulator questions?

I need to ask if the emulator for kitkat on nexus 7 or 10 supports wifi, or if it is on the roadmap and what timeframe?

Must use the emulator and not native hardware for peer to peer aps and I need to develop any wifi support needed in the emulator. Networking is supported.

Anyone besides myself working on a wifi driver emulation? If so, contact me.

Hello and welcome to the forums. are you rooted if so the emulator will work . but I think the key trick is rooting

you are saying the wifi will work on the android emulator if I'm root or have routing set up? Have you been able to get a list of available networks on your emulated WI-FI? if so, how? How did you do the rooting? This will help much and thanks in advance.
