LOL, they call out the incredible, but the stock photo of the girl holding the 2 phones, neither are an inc...

What does this whole story mean to me? Not much... Just like they said at the end of the article, most enterprise companies are more worried about data theft by loss of/theft of a physical device...

Basically, htc will issue an updated kernel to verizon for testing and ota update. We'll (custom rom users) have it included in new kernels way before verizon puts it out...

I think there is more personal data risk in losing my phone or having it stolen than someone hacking into my phone via some hole in the Android software. That is why I believe remote wipe should be a fundamental service from all phone companies or manufactures.
 
All systems on all devices have security flaws. This is the core basis behind hacking, and to date, nothing has been found hack proof. Linux, Unix, Mac OS, Windows, Xbox...etc, etc...have all been hacked.

We know for a fact that the Incredible has some security flaws...it's been rooted. Rooting requires various hacks.

So, basically, this article says absolutely nothing at all.
 
That article is pointless, and you could have placed any OS in the place of Android. "There might be security flaws" is pretty broad. Sounds like rim and apple paid someone to stir up Crap. Not saying there aren't any flaws but wow that was a waste of 2 minutes

In fairness to CNN - they picked up the article somewhere else, they didn't write it. - I read the same article at about 10 other sites. That's the link I just happened to share.

But thanks everyone else for your thoughts on this. :)
