Android Forums app

[thetingster]

A while back I heard there was going to be an android forums "app" available. Does anyone know if this is available yet? I can't find anything in the market.

Tapatalk? Are you currently using the mobile version?

tapatalk was banned a while back, haven't heard anything about an app recently.

Any reason why Tapatalk was banned? I was always wondering this....

If I remember correctly there was a major security risk with the website and tapatalk. I don't remember the exact details, however.

Some versions of v ulletin have a touch version that is better than the mobile version. Too bad that plugin isn't implemented. I never liked tapatalk.

Not sure what this has to do with rooting an Eris????

Anyways, in answer to the question.

FYI - From the owner's mouth (errr... keyboard)

Q: What gives? when will we get the long awaited much anticipated phandroid app? please release it NOW!!! Also, please tell me it will have alerts?

A: Premium AF Members have had access to a private beta of the application for about a month and a public beta SHOULD go live in the next week or two. It’ll feature a boat load of new features including alerts, full forum support, chat and a lot more. I’m convinced you’ll love it and we’ll continually be working on new features such as “recommended apps” based on your personal profile. Stay tuned… I promise it’s almost ready!!!
