Android Market Access problem

Fidaim

Lurker
I just got my Samsung Galaxy S II, when I try to access MARKET it sends me to GOOGLE PLAY and then I try to enter, but "a server error has occurred".
I factory reset it and again it's the same thing. Could someone help me plzz??

It might be worth uninstalling updates for google play in settings, applications, manage applications. It should then auto update when you use google play but hopefully without the problems.

Edit: and if you didn't clear cache while clearing data I'd give that a try.

It might be a temporary server problem with google or even your service provider. Have you tried going online via the browser or accessing your google account through the browser?

Saying this because the other day couldn't access the Gamehub / Mobage games with error that says check settings again. Waited a couple of hours and it worked again which points to their server problem.

Cheers

Android Market is now Google Play. It's the exact same market, they just changed the name. All devices are being updated with new icons for Google Play. My 2 Samsung Galaxy S2 phones updated about 3 weeks ago, my Transformer tablet updated 2 weeks ago and my GoogleTV (Sony NSZ-GT1) just updated about a week ago. You can try uninstalling Google Play and then re-installing it by accessing the Google Play Store using your Web Browser to download the App again.
