Root Android Market Download Disappear

Hey guys,

I can't install or download any app from The market. For a few second it'll popup on the notification bar and after that disappear without any progress. However I can any install third party apk downloads (where I believe may be the cause of the problem...maybe I downloaded a malicious app).

In fiddling around, I uninstalled one of my free apps that downloaded fine off the market a few days ago. After uninstalling, the app was still located in my market's 'my apps' and in proceeding to re-Install, the problem above happened.

Any help will be much appreciated.

that's exactly what is happening to me...thought it might because I just rooted. Too much of a coincidence that it's happening to a few people.

I just cleared the markets cache and factory restored. Didn't work. When I reopened the market, it appears to be the old version before 2.2.1 but I checked and I have the update

ongoing issue with market...try now as i have been able to downlaod and install apps.

the market seems to go down from time to time

I think this happened a few months ago as well
