Root Android Market Force closes when I try to download apps (Samsung Admire)

I'm having a serious problem with my phone: The android market force closes whenever I try to view or download an app, or just doesn't start up at all.

Before the problem: I attempted to flash a custom rom to my phone. I downloaded the Rom Manager app, backed up my rom ect. before attempting the operation. It failed 3 times due to "invalid signature" Or something like that. After the third failure, I gave up, restored my factory ROM (just to be safe) and rebooted. Everything, including the Market worked fine. A day or so goes by and I try to download the bluetooth add-on for astro ('cause why not) and when I try to start the download market force closes. I tried again multiple times. Figured I'd try a different app. Same problem.

Can someone help figure out what's going on and how to fix it, or at least another way for me to install apps on my phone?

I'd appreciate it soooo sooo much!

Go into your recovery assuming you still have it should be a option to fix permissions or fix ui mismatch.Run this if it doesn't work go to manage apps and clear cache and data for market and reboot.Use to have same problem on my optimus

first of all there is no roms for r phone. second of all there is know alt recovery for r phone. so y in gods earth did u waste your time by doing what u did.

fyi: just goto setting / applications and data n catche.

I deleted the Rom app after I failed.

It dosent matter anyway because of the next solution I tried:

I downloaded a patch that supposedly was supposed to fix it, restarted my phone, and bricked it.

Cest la vie, I guess.

Try with phone turned off, but some battery life

Hard reset.
1) down volume key
2) back key
3) power key
all together till samsung logo comes up

Then choose

Wipe data/ factory reset

I tried that, still nothing.
I got a new one but now it won't mount the memory card to my computer. It's really annoying. I know its off topic, but it'd be helpful if I could get some assistance!
