Android market, I need help!

Hi guys, getting really frustrated, had my desire for almost a year now, the market has just updated itself but now its asking me to use my youtube account to log in which is also linked to my gmail account.

I have changed my password on my gmail and even checked youtube which confirmed what I thought which is they are linked and one and the same thing however I still cant log in even thought I know for 100% its the correct password, it just keeps putting me through the spam filter and telling me my password is in correct and it wont even give me the option to log in with my gmail account it appears as thought I HAVE to use my youtube email address which I never use anyway

grrrrrrrrr very frustrated, anyone help or advice you can offer will be apreciated.

LOL I've had the exact same problem mate. Somebody suggested a solution (if you're rooted) in this thread:

Otherwise hit the 'back' (physical) button on your phone when it asks you to log in. The screen should then show the 'loading' screen, now quickly press the 'menu' button and select 'accounts'...then you should be able to select the account you want to use and log in using the correct details.
