Help android market problem with optimus m

the new update is making my phone glitchy. I download something, it says it started the download but he actual app is not downloading. it would just say starting download forever but doesn't download anything. this is with the new app market update. I uninstalled the update and now it went to a different version which is still giving download troubles weather using wifi or 1x. I don't want to have to factory reset my phone again

Tried clearing the data and cache? Factory reset is the last resort. If the market is just having issues, you'll be doing that for nothing.
