I have recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S to Android 2.2 (Froyo). I am no longer able to download via 3G in the Android Market. WiFi functions normally, but 3G took 6 hours to download a 4MB file before erroring out as "Unsuccessful."
After searching various forums, I have tried all of the following without success:
1) Clear cache and data from MARKET and DOWNLOAD MANAGER, followed by reboot. I cannot find the mentioned "Google Apps" or "Checkin Service." (No effect)
2) Uninstall MAKRET UPDATE (2.3.3), CLEAR CACHE and reboot phone. (No effect. Plus, v2.3.3. reinstalls itself within a couple of hours)
3) Log in to and out of Google Talk. (No effect)
4) Removing all the information in my gmail account. Unsync all gmail services, calendar, etc.
I have done everything short of resetting my phone back to factory and am very much hoping for another solution. Any input (aside from what I've already tried) would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
