The android market on my triump just updated to google play store and now it doesn't work. The icon is not loading either. Everytime i tap on the icon my phone telles me "this application is not responding, restart your phone" but when i do nothing. My phone is rooted but I'm still running the stock ROM (2.2.2 froyo). Has this happen to anyone else? The only way i can get it to work i have to uninstall the updates to access the market but then after that it auto updates so every time i want to go on the market i have to uninstall the updates.

If you are opening the Market from the home screen, it is no longer in the system. Go to the App Drawer and pull out the Play Store and place it on the desktop then open the Play Store. I know, I had this problem as well.
Just found it in my app drawer thanks.
I'm not running CM9 atm but i hope i will be this weekend. I don't own a pc... Well i do but its running windows 3.0 lol so i really can't do much with it.
Windows 3.0? How? That baffles me.
