Root Android market - wrong country??

Android market has suddenly started saying that various random apps (themes, pretty much anything) are incompatible with my triumph's country. WTF? Any suggestions on where to investigate? CM7 b 0.8. Tried thunderprop. No help. Btw, I'm in the country of North Carolina ;)
 
You can try market enabler if it downloads from the market or just download the .apk and install it and then you can change your country... But I would call VM to get a replacement because it shouldn't do that...
 
another thing to try is to Clear Data
(in Settings->Manage Apps->All tab->find Market in the list
and Clear Cache and Clear Data)

Probably should backup before you do anything.
 
Damn, I was hoping that it was trouble with the market.
@Agent - I did that. Running fast and light right now. That's when this started.

@Marc - got market enabler. Couldn't figure out what to enter.

I'll try to wipe and clear market data... Didn't think of that.

The regular market is fine, it's the Web site market that is giving trouble. I was hoping it was a problem there and not me, but nobody else had mentioned it... Damn.

Maybe you accidentally changed where you live on google account
 
Well I thought of that too, but apparently some people outside of the us have tried changing that with no help. Seems like the market pulls it's country info from somewhere else. No idea where. not the build.prop either??
 
Thought it was fixed, but I was wrong.
Stuff I can get in the market via the app, are listed as incompatible with my Triumph's country on the market via Web.
