Does it require a credit card or is a debit card usable...

Also I seem to be getting a server error when I try to buy apps....

Android Market is linked to your google account (checkout). It does accept most of the credit/debit cards.

I had also problem buying apps straight from the market but i solved it once i put all my address and credit/debit cards on google checkout on your pc.

Yup, had to do it throuhg my PC then buy them. Cheers bud.
