Android Market

[Sweet Chaos]

I don't have an Android phone yet, but in my anticipation of getting one soon I've been checking out the market and saving some apps that I want to try. I don't like using the market on android.com because you cannot search on it, only browse. I started using Androlib.com and like the interface but I have a question about it. I heard it referenced as a "3rd party" app site. I understand that the site itself is 3rd party as it is not run by Android or Google, but are ALL the apps on it 3rd party as well? If so, are there any sites that I can SEARCH for apps that aren't 3rd party? I feel much more comfortable using official apps than 3rd party.

Thanks =)

appbrain.com is what you want...

Just use appbrain.com

Log in there using your google account. "Install" all of the apps that you will want to put on your phone.

When you get your phone, install the appbrain app. Then sync it and you'll then be able to install all of the apps you preselected. Purchase/Install will still be through the official google market.
