Help Android MDD Service Created

Hello, this is my first post so excuse any nooby mistakes I make.

Recently, I have started receiving popups towards the bottom of the screen when using applications. These applications are completely unrelated and this message appears almost randomly.
It literally reads 'MDD Service Created...'
I don't think I have changed anything. Developer mode is still disabled(I have not clicked on the number 6 times to make it appear)…
Is this a simple error on my behalf or is it a common issue?

Is it just Web browsing or any time you're using the tablet?

Any chance you could post a screenshot? (hold volume down and power to take one).

Im quite a techy person being a network admin and web dev...but this baffles me... It seems to appear most of the time. When browsing or playing games.

Odd.

My initial thought was a random app causing ads or stuff to pop up in the notification bar, but that's what's referred to as a toast and as far as I'm aware, there's not many ads that can do that.

I'm totally clutching at straws here, but have you installed (or is there anything on your tab) anything by these guys: https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=AppDevelopers

Hello, I think I found the issue. I saw the message appear once more and decided that if its creating a service, then it must appear in the running services list. So I go to settings and look for anything with MDD in it. I come across an app I installed to limit mobile data. This is conveniently called 'Mobile Data Disabler'. I have uninstalled this app and so far the messages have gone. I'll edit in a play store link to show you what to stay away from. Thanks

Glad you found the culprit (sorry I wasn't much use).

As an aside, if you're looking for something to turn data off when the screen is off, take a look at Greenify or Juice Defender.

Also, you can set the tab to turn WiFi off when it goes to sleep by heading to Settings -> WiFi -> Menu (3 Dots ) -> Advanced -> keep WiFi on during sleep.

Hey,
I'll check out those appps
I tether my tablet to my phone when I'm not close to a router. Hence the apps. I was aware of the turn WiFi off when sleeping option however it seems to cause other people trouble when trying to reconnect. So I'll leave that alone I think
