Android Messaging Application and its Permissions

I would like for everyone with a Galaxy S5 to take a moment and look over their permissions for the Messaging application. Got to Settings> Applications> Applicationot Manager> All> Messaging> Permissions. Then read over each permission. Now why the **** does the MESSAGING app need to see my ugly mug and hear my diabetic breathing? **** off

While I can see your point these are normal permissions for a messenger app. People like to send pictures and the app needs permission to do that.

Plus "without your confirmation" is just letting the app be able to do something without you having to do an extra tap and hit "ok" each time i think so like it doesnt mean "without your permission" or anything like that ;-)

Well does the message app have the ability to take a photo or video clip an include it in a message? If so, it will need those specific permissions.

It requires those permissions so you can send MMS(multimedia messages) of your ugly mug and diabetic breathing.

Well does the message app have the ability to take a photo or video clip an include it in a message? If so, it will need those specific permissions.

It looks like the stock Samsung messaging app, so yes does need those permissions.
