Apps Android : Need help in creating an APP

I need to create an Android app, where i can upload data(both text and images) to my server. Server side is ready (rest APIs are in place). As images would be size consuming so i would like to save data on my phone then later in WIFI i would be uploading all the bulk data (something like drafting). Could anyone suggest me the ways of doing so (specifically this drafting technique).
