Android Needs to Add BT 4.0 Support!!

[thenickevans]

Android is behind on adding Bluetooth Low Energy support to Android. If it was added, a ton of accessories could be supported on Android instead of just on iOS.

Please sign this petition to ask Google to do so!

I really don't think support in Android is that far off since the hardware is already present in the Nexus 4&10.

I have read some sites claiming it is only the hardware and some claim it actually works, so I am not sure. I currently don't own any devices that utilize BLE so I have nothing to test it and verify it myself.

Is there any actual BT 4.0 devices out there yet, that we can buy, NOT just concepts and prototypes. Once BT 4.0 gets going, then phone-makers probably will implement it in their new handsets.
