Hello, DavyPaul here.
Been online since 1994 via CiX and Ameol.
Who'd have thought we'd have all this computer and communicator power in our shirt pockets?
In terms of handsets, I've gone
NEC (analog) in '96, then GSM Panasonic g520, panasonic gd93, gd87 flip/mms, SE V900 3g video/media, HTC Wizard/O2 miniS winmo - with sliding keyboard, then SE w880, k850, c905 and now the super HTC Desire.
I was palm pilot III in Nov '99 - the translucent green one, then Handspring Visor - the thin brushed aluminum one. The Wizards were the follow on to these.
Love the look and feel of the Desire and had a 'palm pilot' moment when using it. Iit integrates properly with my calendars and e-mail and facebook and twitter and contacts - just superb.
nice to be here and i hope I can contribute.
I've used at least 6 flavors of unix and currently running EMC CLARiiON/VMWare/Win2003/2008
nice to meet you all.
