While I'm a newbie to Droid, I am not a newbie to smartphones/PDAs. I just managed to convince Verizon Wireless to let me upgrade from an accursed Blackbery Storm 2 to the Droid X. Prior to that, I used an iPhone, a couple of Treos, a Kyocera, several Clies, and my first PDA, a then-new Palm IIIx.

Feel free to tell me to RTFM if you can tell me where TFM is:

* All of my contact, calendar, memo/notes and tasks data is in Outlook; what is the best way of syncing a Droid to Outlook?

* What is the best way to sync photos? I'm looking for something similar to what iTunes does with iOS, resizing large photos down when syncing so as to not needlessly take up storage space.

* Whenever I plug the Droid into my computer, my web browser opens up with an annoying video telling me to download VCast Media Manager, which does NOT do what I want (I already tried it). How do I stop that from happening? I checked settings on both the Droid and my PC already.
