Howdy folks. New to the forum and new to android. I've owned iPhones since gen 1 launched. I've been intrigued by the android OS for a while so i decided to take the plunge. Bought a Galaxy S3 Saturday and spent the last couple of days familiarizing myself with its functions and capabilities. So far so good, but i've got a lot to learn. Found this forum a yesterday and think it will be invaluable getting me up to speed.

A little about me...I'm a retired USMC artillery officer and a Former Student of Texas A&M University.
