Android Noob - Note 2 Owner

Finally broke out of a decade + of frustration with crapberry and bought a Note 2.

I bought a Samsung docking / charging station but am having some issues that I need to research here. I had hoped that I would have been able to plug a USB cable to the dock to my laptop and be able to access my N2. Also, thought I would be able to plug a thumb drive into the usb and file share with my N2...can't figure out why neither is working.

Hello scottwat1! Congratulations on your new device.

Welcome to AF, as well.

I am sure it will take you a bit to get used to it but we have plenty of friendly people to help you with that. Here is a place to start.
