Android noob

[Gsr_Hatch]

Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Bryce, and I have been a customer with AT&T since I was 16 (25 now). I have always been into the iPhone scene pretty heavily, started jailbreaking and modding themes with the first 2G iPhone. And recently have been more and more put out with Steve Jobs, Apple, and AT&T and all of their "restrictions". So I have decided to change directions and go with a more open platform device, and went and signed up with Verizon and pre ordered a Droid X, riding on good faith that the exploit for the encryption will break through soon!

Anyways, sorry for the life story

Thanks for the life's story! Just fyi, the droid x's bootloader is locked, but the fascinate is theoretically already rooted! Good choice though!

Thanks Steven58! Is there any great news I should hear concerning progress on cracking that bootloader!

[Steven58]

sorry, not at this time.
