Root android not the same now

ok i tryed to root my galaxy prevail and it worked but there was alot of shit not working.. so i tryed to bring it back to factory well i dont have the same stuff i had last time.. i hadsame stuff i had last time.. i had like this live wallpaper i dont have this no more.. and my gingerbread says im on FF19 what version am i supposed to be on and what version is the newest?

i used to get a wallpaper like the one in the link below..

how can i get this option back on my phone?
or live wallpaper .. sorry im a noob .. its my first time rooting my phone.
should i go to icecream? all i was trying to do was make a mobile hotspot with my boost prevail.. to usb tether. please help me someone..

does all that look right?
cause when i do a factory reset.. i go to update software and it shows it starting then i get the android guy with a white triangle and a exclamtion in it.. and it freezes. and i dont get no more updates no more.. it used to get fota or something update i dont get that no more and now it seems like its still rooted cause it tells me everything is uptodate and i know its not.

I believe FF19 is the current update from Boost Mobile, so you are up to date. If you would like to reset your phone to an earlier state with stock apps ie...live wallpapers ect. you should read through the ODIN post:

Or, if you just want Live wallpapers back on your phone...you could search the Market (PLAY STORE) for some. There are several free ones.
