Welcome to android 
Yahoo email is easy, go to your app drawer, tap email. There should be an option to add an account from the main email screen if its the first account on it, if not, tap menu, tap accounts, menu, add accounts.
Getting any type of files off your computer is easy. When you plug the phone in through USB, it should automatically pop up and select 'Open folder for viewing' You can create a folder or just drag and drop your files anywhere. The music player will find the music, and you can access it from the 'My Files' App.
Theres an online market place, sometimes makes it easier to search for stuff.

Or just go into your market (using your Gmail account) and search for whatever you'd like.
I recommend getting an app like QR Droid or ScanLife so that you can scan barcodes with your phone that can bring you to a direct link in the Market.
Also, make sure you get the most out of Googles services Calendar, contacts, tasks, docs, sync so seamlessy with the phone and it's all OTA, which means no plugging it in

if you have a mac, you'll have to use kies. for some reason (at least for me), i can't mount my s2 as an external (works for PC) and you can transfer files to/from phone via kies. not the best way but it's pretty easy.
if someone can figure out how to mount their s2 as a drive on their mac without the use of kies, please let us know!

To upload songs just connect your phone to your laptop by USB and drag and drop
Simples!
Settings> Network and Wireless> USB Utilities> press on screen button> attach usb cable when prompted.
It will then appear on your desktop, and then just view the files finder.
Contacts? You could sync with Google on the HTC and then do the same on the GS2? Very easy
