Follow the guide and install one of the latest "nightlies". These are the most recent updates of Android "Ice Cream Sandwich" (4.0.4). I am running the 20120903 version (from Sept 3rd). It is very stable and has all the fixes to date.

Here are the nightlies:
CyanogenMod Downloads

Since these are all custom builds for the Touchpad, there are no automatic updates. That said, there probably won't be any updates at all really as the CM team is focusing on building a newer version based on Android 4.1 (Jelly bean).

ok this might sound stupid but is someone willing to help me do this via Skype? I don't want to mess this up and the instrucions are not for the new fix that fixes the Mic issue... I'm new at this and I just don't want to mess it up... I would be greatfull if someone wouldn't mind messaging me to help me...

Thansk all

If you rename a nightly build to add "update" to the beginning of the file, the cm9 guide should work fine for you with acme2 installer.

If you use acme3 installer, the cm9 nightly will work, but you need to add "update" to the beginning of the gApps file.
