Help Android phone pattern locked with wifi and data connection off

okay so im in a problem.i had a pattern lock activated on my phone which is Samsung Galaxy win.my sister tried to unlock it and entered the pattern several times wrong.now it says to unlock via google account which i cant because of no internet connection.when i try it says invalid username or password.i can not factory reset i dont know why.so please anyone help.......................................

No only the dead android and I get no response when I press any button

Hmm, depending on if someone else has any ideas, I'm probably leaning towards flashing the most current firmware for your device via ODIN. (if sammobile.com has it---I didn't check into it yet)

Do you have access to a computer?
Is your device model the GT-I8552?
Go to Sammobile.com
Go to Firmware downloads.
Enter your device model and search for the firmware for your country/carrier.
There are instructions there and links for ODIN.
You'll have to create a free account to download stuff from there.

That's the Cliff Notes version, but really it's simple to do.

Any more questions, feel free to ask.

Like I said, perhaps someone will offer another idea, but that's my 2 cents

i think for flashing i will need to enter download mode.whenever i try to enter into download mode it instead goes to factory mode.

Factory mode? I would assume you are doing the home/power/volume down button combo?

I'm a little unclear when you say, "factory mode"...can you clarify?
I know there is recovery (mode) and download (mode), but factory mode puzzles me, sorry

ok....I'm searching around for some more answers.
Seems like another person had the same issue as you are (factory mode, couldn't go into download mode) but no solutions yet.

FWIW I got one of these GT-i8552, Galaxy Win Duo, kept as a spare phone now. Unfortunately there's just not much good information for it at all. It's only a mid-range device, released in a few Asian countries, like Hong Kong and Singapore, so probably not too popular and not many have them.
