Android Predicting Google Searches over WiFi?

I'm sure someone can help with this...

Say for instance I'm at home on my laptop and I search a topic in Google (over wifi), let's say "Ancient Greek Mythology"...

I can then go into my Samsung Galaxy an hour later also over the same wifi connection, go to Google (usually using Google Now), type in "A.." and it will predict "Ancient Greek Mythology"!

Now, I'm not sure if this happens because both devices are using the same internet connection? (that's my guess) Or maybe it's an Android Google Now issue?...does anyone know?? It's quite a big privacy concern I would have thought...!

Thanks guys..

Sounds like you're signed into your Google account on both devices. ;)

Its not really a privacy concern, its a convenience thing.

You must be signed into both devices on the same account for it do do this, its got nothing to do with the WiFi network.
