I don't like APPLE due to it's proprietary way, I-Tunes, etc.
SPrint EVO was a great phone.
What, at present is considered the best Android phone?

Only YOU can answer that question. You're not going to get a consensus here. I agree the Evo was a great phone. But was it the best? Unanswerable question. Now, if you were to ask, "What, at present is considered a great Android phone?" People can give their opinions. Just be aware the list may be large. You sticking with Sprint?
 
Thanks for the feedback. I guess my priority would be the phone. I'll use any carrier that provides the best phone and battery life. The EVO is just crazy on battery use and I really hardly use my phone, probably 1 call every 2 days and maybe maybe 8 text messages a week.
 
i hear a lot of the sammy GS2... but I personally hate sammy.

others say the evo 3d or sensation is great.

i am holding out for a few more months.. and see what HTC will bring out to compete with the Prime.
 
If you liked HTC Sense then the Vigor that should be coming out soon would be a good buy. The SGS2 also look good and you could keep your unlimited data with Sprint. The Nexus Prime should be a great phone. I've also heard good things about the Bionic but I don't exactly like Moto personally, could be a good option for you. Really the best phone will depend on the user, go to some stores and try some out see if you like one OEM UI over the rest or would rather have a vanilla phone.
 
I have got a HTC 4g inspire and I have git the 2.3.3 upgrade but I would like to go back to the 2.2.1 version how do I to about doing that. What I am trying ti do is root my phone I have been told it would be easier to go back to 2.2.1 and just use z for root but what would be the best and the easiest way ti root my phone.

More than likely your hboot will not allow you to downgrade HTC firmware and you would need to root to downgrade anyways.
