Help Android Revolution HD UPDATING

If you go from different Android bases i.e. 2.3.4 to 2.3.5 then you need to wipe and flash and reinstall all your apps, if you're staying on the same base i.e. 3.6.7 to 3.6.8 then you don't need to wipe, just flash the ROM and all your apps and everything will be there.

Obviously, always make a nandroid first to go back to.

If you do need to wipe and then flash, use a back up programme like MyBackup Pro or Titanium, then you all you need to do is reinstall that app, press a couple of buttons and all your stuff will be back on your phone in a matter of minutes, including texts, apps, data etc.

Thanks gibbs i use titanium to back up but what is nandriod is that a backup tool for recovery mood is this the same as Clockworkmod recovery backup cheers again

Nandroid is basically a complete backup of your whole ROM, apps, data etc, complete image of everything you had, so if you go into Recovery and make a backup if anything goes wrong you've always got this to go back to, it's a life saver and a must!

No problem :)
