are there any sat nav apps that work offline?

locations works offline, but its navigation is only free for 2 months I guess then u have to purchase

If you program in your route into Google Maps while you are in WiFi coverage, it will download and cache the entire route. This just means you have to always start your journey from home

Sygic Mobile Maps or Sygic Aura... I've tried them both and they work quite well!!!
