Help Android SCREEN DOESNT LOAD

ok so i just randomly tried to unlock my droid, and the screen wont... um unlock? its working but i just cant see anything, the whole screen is black. when i try to turn it off and back on, i can unlock it (i feel the vibration) but i can see anything. ive tried taking out battery, charging it. what else?? please help!! thanks
 
Mine just started doing this same thing, is it done or can it be fixed.

The screen's backlight lights up, but no actual picture. I can slide where the unlock would be and it buzzes, everything else is normal but I have no actual picture.
