I'm not overly concerned with what it's called, I just want to continue being able to purchase devices designed specifically for stock vanilla pure-Google Android, without any additional "features" or add-ons from manufacturers or carriers, and with fastboot oem unlock support. I don't even mind paying a bit more - the Nexus One was priced just like any other unlocked smartphone, and I still bought it as soon as I could (even though I was deployed to Afghanistan at the time!).
And note that I'm talking about devices designed for stock Android, not ones that just happen to run it - the GPE devices are not an adequate compromise in my book.
