Help Android Studio Questions [Platform Tools Folder]

Hi All,
I downloaded android studio but it does not have a PLATFORM TOOLS folder and hence, Changing Directory command does not happen. What to do.? Thanks in advance.

Starting with this page (which I'm guessing is where you started):

Leads to this:

http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/index.html?pkg=tools​

and finally, to this page:

http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/adding-packages.html​

where it tells you how to install the Android SDK Platform-tools.

edit: by the way, the platform-tools folder is in the android-sdk-windows directory path and it likely not in where you installed the Android Studio files:
