What actually does that mean when you see android system in the bettery consumption breakdown page? Like what parts of the phone use comprises android system, like does looking for a signal comprise system and suck like? And what is considered hig android system use? And how do I fix that if it is high?

Hi,
When looking at the android use via settings > about phone > battery > battery use, the android system bar appears. Press on this and it will show you what exactly is using up your 30 - 40%.

Some things you will not be able to cut back on but others you can when they're not required. This can be managed via applications > manage applications.....

These tasks will also help you reduce battery drain when carried out periodically.

Hope this helps :)

The figures you see on the 'battery use' page only relate to the % of things using up your battery power... the figures you then see relating to data sent /data received (in kb) are what you should be looking at. As the phone has a 1ghz processor, so as a guide you have access to 100 x 100 kbs (10 thousand) to use so when you're well below the 5000kb mark you're still in the 'low usage' bracket.... so as a rule there's nothing to fix unless you keep all your apps running all of the time.
