Make sure your XBOX is connected to the same local network as the phone. Now download an FTP app from the android market (there are many) and enter the FTP login information as you normally would on your computer.
Appreciate the reply, but trying to figure out usb strait connect I believe a usb cord can fit in the controller port thinj ive seen guides fir othet things that way. I do have a router in the closet if that will work.
I believe your best option would be using that router; is it a wireless router? If so, then connect your XBOX to the router through ethernet and connect your phone through wifi. Now just use an FTP app and you should be set.
Sounds good. Gonna give that a go, forgot all about me having that router till you mentioned net work. My mind was concentratibg on strait cable. Doh!! One of my noobish moments LOL will have to guess at the router ip im sure there is a default. Hmm doesnt the phone ip change alot? Seems like my indulge did. Is there a program to set ip to a specific ip for just this process?
I do not have the original XBOX running XBMC but I believe it accepts connections from any local IP. Try and figure out your XBOX's assigned IP from the router configuration page or XBMC's settings. It might also have a default password which XBMC should list if that is the case. After you get that sorted I can help you reserve a local IP for your XBOX which will require you to set it from the router configuration page.
