Root Android trojan Rage.A

I'm trying to root My flytouch III but the nescesery z4root is being picked up as a trojan/virus.

Is this because of the was it works and is it still safe to use?

BTW it's eset picking it up as Android.trojan.Rage.A

Ok so that is how it works but how do i get z4root passed my virus guard?

I have never used e-set but it should give you the option to bypass the warning and download the file. if it doesn't disable it and download the file. Then maybe consider a better AV program.

I took the plunge, turned of eset, download to card ejected the restarted eset.
I'm rather predudice about eset as its the first av that I haven't had serious problems with.

The problem you run into is because of the different commands that certain hacking tools use, heuristic scans pick that up as trojans or virus. Just like No Cd patches for games always come up as infected. A good anti virus should give you the control without having to disable it, or have a safe list.
