My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Jelly Bean 4.1.2 installed on a Korean version. I live in UK & want to update to Kit Kat 4.4. Samsung UK are reluctant to do this. My Kies says there is an update. Is it OK to proceed?

Kies will install update for region ur phones fw is from.
So if u have korean phone with korean fw u will get newer korean fw after update.
However if u have korean phone with uk update u will get uk update.
Anyway its safe to update, however if its update to 4.4 i will recomend doing hard reset as there can be partitions size change oe something.
