I'm using the Yoga Tab 2 Pro 13. It's running 4.4.2 KitKat. When I keep tapping android version in settings the KitKat logo appears but when I long press the logo it still plays the old jellybean mini game instead of the new tiled/Tetris like mini game. Not a big deal but just wondering why it's doing this or if anyone else's is doing the same?

This is as far as I get on kitkat

I didn't know there should be a game...
All I can think of is the developers for your device got lazy

Funky, if you hold down once you get the "Kitkat" screen, you should see the history of Android versions animated squares thing.

Not all devices have this Easter-egg however, some manufacturers remove or disable it. Custom AOSP ROMs should have it though.

Maybe something that Lenovo has done, can't think of why though. It's one thing that I've noticed it is the Chinese manufacturers that do make more changes and customizations to Android than say Korean or Japanese manufacturers, like Samsung, Sony, LG, etc. And Lenovo is Chinese of course. I've got an Oppo Find 7, which is Kitkat 4.4.2 but Oppo calls it "ColorOS 2.0", it doesn't have this Easter-egg at all.

In China, Lenovo doesn't call it Android, instead there's name like "Vibe UI". And it is heavily customized and skinned.

If you really want the easter eggs. Get Mr Easter on the play store. It includes all of the android easter eggs (Except lollipop)

Ah I see. Isn't a problem at all, just thought maybe my android version had messed up as I thought all devices using 4.4.2 would have the same feature when the kit kat logo is held down. Hopefully the yoga tab 2 pro gets lollipop soon.

Lenovo's Lollipop variant might have the full Kitkat Easter-egg. :D

BTW Easter-eggs are sometimes prohibited in software and tech products, when supplying certain government agencies. Because the product must work exactly as documented and NO surprises! Why Windows 7 doesn't have any, unlike XP, because of The Pentagon.

Oh aye. I remember the tiles type thing before, sorry I forgot about that.. Wonder why cm11s isn't giving me that...
.. I suppose it's probably the same kinda problem the OP is having... "bad" coding?
