Hi, I'm Tiffany. I just bought an Android phone on July 5. Since then, on two different occasions, I have gotten a series of text messages. All coming from different numbers. They all say the same thing. Is this a virus?

No, it's not. It's txt spam. Call your provider to ask them how to shut that off.

Yeah, and you may want to hurry and calll them because I had a similar problem. It turned out that the text messages were "premium " and I got charged $15 per messages. I had Verizon totally block premium messages to my phone. But anyways, welcome to the Android Forums.
