The Razr Maxx has the best battery life out of the box. Even You could put in an app killer app and a start up monitor app. They help a little.

Again, RAZR MAXX is not available on AT&T and buying two of them off-contract would cost me $1,000-1,600 on top of AT&T's mandatory data plan for smartphones. If I'm going to have to pay for data anyway, might as well take advantage of the subsidy.

As for app killers, the phone will already be running on bare minimum services and I'd only be installing Google Voice and Lookout. I highly doubt an app killer will help.
