Root .android_secure

I switched my recovery from clockwork to Aloha since i'm now using apps2sd and it can backup and wipe my ext partition. When I was making my first backup I saw something i've never seen before. What is .android_secure and is it something I should include in my nandroid backup?

that is where apps are stored on Froyo when they are saved on the SD card.

Since i'm still on Eclair, I guess that means I don't have to worry about it. Thanks for the info.
