AndyX ROM

Looks like we're up to version 15! It's about time I updated. v12 is slowly growing in issues. For instance, I can't set a default keyboard to anything but samsung any more, and the stock Music app is broken!

Also, hi everybody! I have like, no internet time anymore :P
 
I see the v15.1 due out Thursday, has removed the jkay mod!

Guess there have been some issues, either that, or a brilliant marketing ploy.....
 
I realised that would be the issue, but it may have worked in jkays favour, he may well have quite a few new customers that wouldn't have tried it otherwise.....

Obvious point is out shouldn't have been done without permission!

The paid app was being bundled in with the ROM.
I doubt if people on this ROM would then later pay JKay for something they already have.
 
I was thinking along the lines of when people go to upgrade to the next ROM, and decide they want it Again.... Clearly you are correct though :-)
 
That download site is POOR. I cant even get it to start to download!!!

Please someone who has downloaded it, please make a mirror.

Regarding jkay deluxe, I still don't get what's so special about the paid version. I'll keep it backed up on titanium (thanks adesirello!) but it's nothing special...
 
Hello everyone! 15.2 is out already but after clicking the download button it gives me only .2kb of zip file. Anybody successfully finished downloading the new version? I'm using my phone.
 
Hi! Stumbled across this single post while scrambling to fix a noob mistake. I have the ATT Galaxy note, running Only One rom, and decided to remove the Gallery SBEDEMO for the same reasons you did. I tried to reinstall it using titanium, but nothing. It freezes up while trying and never installs it. It sounds like you found a way to make it work in your situation (cuz right now i can't change my lockscreen wallpapers from the default set). Can you explain, or link to an explanation of what you did (flashable zip)?

I've tried re-installing this gallery version but it wont let me.

Edit: I managed to install that demo gallery by creating a CWM flashable zip. Now when I try to select a lockscreen wallpaper, firstly it shows "Gallery SBEDemo" and "Wallpaper Gallery" and then if i select the demo gallery, I then get my expected list of apps (quickpick, gallery etc) Not as I expected, but at least it works.

There's a lot of JB-esque app updates in this v15.3. It's probably the closest thing to JB we'll get for now; that's stable of course :P
 
Hello, It's been a while since i've updated, as i'm on AndyX ROM V11.... I hope it has changed a lot now on V15.3! I'm downloading it now!! hehe
 
ok, i've installed 15.3.. now I can't change my keyboard.. It is stuck at the samsung IME thing. When I try to change it to be android or 'Go Keyboard'. It won't let me.. :S
 
Try clearing dalvik and cache? Also just switching on and off.....but assumed you woulda tried that already.lol
