Day 14

This one took a few goes. Finishing the level is pretty easy but getting enough for 3 stars is a bit of a bitch.

This is how I did it....

Fire the first bomb up over the top and drop it onto the 3rd big red present. If you get it right the bomb falls right down into the structure and takes out all the pigs on the right-hand side.

Fire the 2nd bomb low to the front on the left and take out all but one pig higher up. You will probably still have a present left there too.

Use the final bomb to take the last pig, the present and as much as the structure out as possible. If enough rubble falls you should get a high enough score.

I know that 99,000+ is enough for 3 stars. My current high score is 102,490
 
First pig thru third present and it will blow up all the pigs on the right if it drops down a bit first. 2nd pig SEEMS like it should take out all the pigs on the left and the red present on the the left but it doesn't seem to be working out. Had the blow out from the first pig take out the left present ONCE and then I missed an easy shot on the pigs on the left. 2 pigs should be possible but will it give enough points???
14: I think I know the two throws it takes but can't get it to work out. Had it done but the first present didn't blow.
 
Day 14: 108,380pts 3 stars

I was able to three star it in multiple ways. They key is to get your bombs as far inside the structure as possible to get the most explosive damage. Make sure your birds are traveling perpendicular to any stone it hits.

Highest score for me was to shoot first bird straight into the left side (aimed just a bit below center of the slingshot) and killing all pigs. Second bird high arc into the top blowing up as much of the top portion as possible (I aimed for the spot where the blue present used to be, as the blue present was already gone). Third high arc into the right side where the red present used to be. Before firing your first bird, look to where the blue present and the right red present are, and you can see where your 2nd and third birds need to hit. You can see where your birds will be channeled deeper into the structure if you hit it right.

I hit 98.5k once and it was still 2 stars, and 99k gave 3.

You can clear all pigs with 2 birds, but nowhere near enough points for 3 stars.

98k nets you three stars too. Here's how I did it.

Aim the first bomb at the front, where the long vertical and horizontal stone beams meet. Try and take out the horizontal beam, but not the vertical beam. This bomb should take out all of the birds on the left side. Then aim the second bird at the third present (like Case's first bomb) and drop it down as far as you can. This should take out the rest. One bird to spare.

It took me a few tries, but it worked.
 
I got three stars on 14 at 98,660. I found this level to be the toughest to date.

Update on golden egg level....my top score so far is 312,200. Whew....
 
Haven't seen 3 stars yet! This level is a pain in the ass. Not really much any fun at all. Lots of variation on shot and bomb effects. Won't stop till I get it though.
 
It was really bad for me too. I used the suggestions from the people above and kept missing the mark. Then I finally got it right and haven't looked back. :cool:

Day 15

57,000 - 3 stars

Today's was easy. I just fired the first yellow at the snow just under the ice blocks where the first pigs are and all the blocks fell onto the pigs and killed them.

I looped the 2nd blue bird up and down onto the left-side of the part with the tnt boxes under it. I'm not sure if this was fluke but if you destroy the snow, the rock boulder seems to drop out and the birds roll out and blow up. Pretty sure that's not how you're meant to do it but I've manage it a few times.

Used the same tactic as the first yellow bird for the final part. Just took out the snow under the ice blocks and they all fell down and killed the pigs.

I was surprised this score was enough for 3 stars. I didn't blow up any of the tnt boxes so I'm sure there will be a different way to get more points.

I'm sure that tnt box on the right must do something special. It seems to have a boulder next to it that would fire out to the right.
 
57,250 to get my three stars. One more level in row three. This is so much better than a standard Advent calendar with chocolates. :)
 
It's possible to do it this way also: First yellow under the back ice blocks, blue under the first ice block. 2nd yellow thru the wood under the 2 small pigs. 55,530 3 stars.
TNT box on the right does nothing as far as I can see. Sent all three birds back there to get it.....nothing much.

Yea, I tried that too. Weird it should be there.

I'm sure the santa hats explode or something. If you fire the first yellow one and just clip the top of the hat on top of the "snowman" you get like a mad boost and it fires straight through the level. You can take out the 2 tnt boxes and all the birds at the back but it just misses the big one at the front.

So you can almost do it with one bird.

Jesus, I play this game way too much.
 
15. Been trying this for grins without success:
First bird to the right. Stuff will fall and almost hit the TNT box in the middle-right. Then try to get one of the three blue birds to curl around all the way to the right and roll back left into that right-middle TNT box.
