Angry birds FULL VERSION out now!!

Here's noob question:

I got the apk. Installed fine and happily wasted a lot of time at work today. I was just curious: this is the first time I've gotten an app NOT from the market. How do I get updates? It's obviously not in the downloaded section of the market so I just wasn't sure how that worked. Do I just get it when it comes to the Market for me? Do I need to uninstall this one first before I download it again? Yikes! :)

Rovio are like crack dealers! Sure Angry Birds is free now,....but just wait! You'll play through these levels and will be wanting more. That's when they'll be there offering more levels to support our addiction and want our money!! Oh they are so evil!!! :eek:
 
I've downloaded first the Angry Birds Lite and now the Full version on my EVO, but when I tried to download on my daughters Intercept, I don't even see it listed in the Android Market. Any ideas as to why?

oh I didn't realize it worked the same as a regularly downloaded app from the market. Thank you for the heads up! It's weird since it still isn't in the market for me yet, and I guess it's just my ocd side now that wants my downloads to all come from the same place and then will all be found in the same place lol. This is the only app/game that I got the apk for and while it's obviously not different, it's kind of driving me crazy :p

Yeah, same here. I uninstalled the first version and redownloaded from the Market. All is well, except I lost my game data, so I had to replay the first 10 levels or so.

The ads are ridiculously small, and I already clicked on 2 of them heh. I don't mind small tiny ads like the ones in this game. Especially if some of them are interesting to me.

First 2 levels nothing
Levels1 - 8 adds every level
Levels 8 - 20 adds every level

Plus adds every level restart, so I'd say I'm getting adds erm on every level, and fine when there's ground at the bottom they're no bother, but.most of the time they're obscuring the bottom of the pile so i have to wait until it clears then go and look at the pile again.

It's ruddy annoying.
 
Woot! Installed it from Getjar, as not showing in the market in the UK on 3 yet, with no problems... so far.

Only done up to level 2-1, and not seen any adverts.

Cracking forum btw, some great help, helping out a newbie to Android
 
never played the beta version but heard how good it was so downloaded with in the first hour of being on getjar.com and now download problems if you ever need the .apk file let me know and ill push it ur way as it is free so i can for the time being google ads rule :D
 
Just did a big merge of another Angry Birds thread into here - so it may not flow that smoothly. But keep carrying on the good discussion :)
 
Been reading that the android version doesn't support multitasking?

Works fine for me. Anyone having issues?
 
Still no ads. I"m on 2-18 and haven't seen a single ad in the game. I've had to restart several levels, but haven't seen a single ad.
