new to this, so the full version will contains adds but when released on the market it wont?

Also it wont appear on the market to buy untill it has been downloaded so many times? or is this a wind up and im falling for it?

Apologies like i said new to this just presumed it would be released on the market?
 
its not a demo version, these quotes are from Rovio the developers:

For now, Angry Birds will be free on Android, with support for ads from Google-AdMob. He said that the company will likely announce soon that its paid downloads have surpassed double-digit millions.

So it will also be free and ad supported when it is released on the android market tomorrow. May as well get it from getjar now.

thanks lekky for the link appreciated. hadnt heard of it but will have a better look when i get home tonight.

Its up and running works fine full version on htc desire 2.2 for anyone else. though i tried to go through the links to text me other half (shes worse at understanding it than me) and a few times after selecting android platform as it first comes up with unrecognised format (or similar) choose android, then quick downloads, then type the code in which brings up angry birds but next to it says no compatible version found? so wont let me download it

So do you know if the game will always have the ads or will you need to pay to take the ads away? Also if you upgraded to the ad free game will your scores stay?
 
i have downloaded the above and cant see any ads where would they be?

plus the second level is different to what the lite version had, havent gone past that level as supposed to be doing work, lol

Once 10 million downlaods have been reached, they will release a paid for version that will not have ads.

They pop up every so often, not there all the time. Presumably to make you accidentally click it!

downloaded fine on my milestone. however wont install. claims theres no space left despite nearly 47mb free. can someone confirm how big it is installed please?
 
Just got an email that Angry Birds is now available! Apparently, for the time being, it's only available through http://www.getjar.com/angry-birds but will be coming to the Market soon.

The coolest part is, and it explains why there were ads in the video demo yesterday, it's free! It appears that later there will be a version available for purchase to opt out of the ads.

No I think so many people are trying to get it, it's crashing their server...

CHRISTMAS IS HERE lol....i'm such a nerd...I said it once and I'll say it again. I HATE this site for introducing me to angry birds......:mad:

mine failed too.. I get :
GetJar is experiencing a temporary problem. Please try again in a few minutes.

I've made it through to the site a few times, but unable to download.

I suppose I'll just wait for the market release.

i followed this link above in the quote, i have htc tattoo, and when i clicked the link, a small menu popped up and gave a choice to download to computer or it gives you a code to download to phone, the code is the 43600, which is as you said for the desire, but the code doesnt change anything about the app so it shouldnt really matter which link its downloaded from,

this happened to me when i installed the lite version too. i had to have like 40-50 MB free to install and it only used up 13 MB.

i have no idea why this would happen.
