Angry birds lite

Anyone try Angry birds lite? I was sick of the ridiculous lag on the normal Angry birds and the lite version isn't in the market. I did find an APK and it works great, fast and everything, but I once again found the missing textures and icon size problems of the first Android release.

How can they make a lite version that doesn't work on older phones that need it?

They haven't released the version for older phones. Its still in the works.

Get ad free since your rooted. Its the ads in the full version that make it laggy.

yeah... its really the 2 color ads making, cpu hungry angry birds slower... are you kidding me??? Those ads are so miniscule compared to the processes that angry birds requires when its running physics and what not. The ads are the only thing that doesn't require a lot of CPU/memory...

The Eris just wasn't designed to run this, period. Hopefully "lite" with make it a little smoother.

Guys the lite version IS out, it's on my sister's mytouch slide. I have the ads blocked and I am rooted and like I said I downloaded the lite apk. If you think angry birds runs fine on your eris you have no idea. Everything works 5 times faster on the lite version, it just has the scaling and texture problems of the early angry birds releases. It might be because the version I downloaded was old, that's why I'm asking.

The early beta version of Angry Birds is called "lite" for whatever reason. The new lightweight version has not been released yet. If you're registered with Rovio, they send out emails every time a new version comes out. The original "lite" beta, the first full version, the version that supposedly fixed the problems we were having (but still runs like crap), and I'm assuming the new version for elderly phones like ours.

I dont know if anybody has checked this link out but the patched version runs great on my nonsensikal(final release).

On the main menu (left-hand side), you can disable the background, making it playable.

Put it in airplane mode to easily disable the ads.
