Help Angry birds

Kinda crazy question but has anyone put angry birds on their phone yet? I ask cause my wife has the intercept and the lag on it is so bad it drives er crazy. To be honest angry birds is the only reason she wanted an android phone. Lol I am thinking about selling her intercept and getting her the optumus s but only if angry birds will work on it. Thanks for any input.
 
I haven't played Angry Birds on other devices, but I find it works pretty well on the LG Optimus S.

BTW, this phone absolutely rocks. Get it.

I want to get it for her but she is no where near upgrade time. I have to come off the entire cost that is why I want to sell her intercept. She gates that thing. She wants to check out the optumus s then she will decide if I can sell hers. As along as angry birds works well I don't think she will mind too much. Lol
 
Angry Birds and Paper Toss are the two games I have on my phone at the moment. They both work great on the Optimus S (and are also addictive....)
 
Angry Birds worked awful on my Hero. Lots of lag. Works great on my Optimus though! Only time I have lag is with the ads but there are ways around that. ;)
 
The Lite version of Angry Bird should run even better when it is released. To be honest guys, there is some minor lag in Angry Birds.
 
Angry Birds should run quite a bit better on the Sprint LG Optimus S than it does on the Sprint Samsung Intercept. The GPU chipset runs the Adreno 200 graphics that supports OpenGL ES 2.0.

That being said, as the above poster said, you could always wait for the lower end CPU optimized version of Angry Birds that is coming. The Sprint Samsung Intercept, I think always had lousy support for OpenGL ES due to driver problems dating all the way back to the Sprint Samsung Moment, so that could also be contributing to the performance issues.
 
You guys are great thanks for all of your input. I was able to make to a sprint store today and we downloaded angry birdes on the sample phone and it ran very well. I was inpressed since I have an evo. Have put her intercept on craigslist and a dirt cheap price. I just hope it sells cause I have now seen the purple one is out and I am sure she would love it seeing how she played with it too.
 
I receive this any time I try to download and install Angry Birds or Angry Birds Lite. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do to get it on the phone?

we got it on te phone , and bascially the only app for now, today speegetti and meatballs was sms'd over from this app wondering if others aregetting that type of spam?>
 
angry birds works good on the optimus, it lags a little. mainly at the begining and at the start of each round, but not for long. and it doesnt bug me much and i hate lag

If your phone is rooted just get adfree android in the market and that will make it so your phone doesnt have any ads in any app.

Also there is a version floating around out there that is ad free.\

edit: Didnt notice somebody already pointed this out.
 
The game runs fine on my Optimus S. But when the ads appear, the lag appears...and when the ads go away, the lag goes away. ;) But I do agree with some people here, the lag is really annoying. :mad:
