OK how do I go about getting my angry birds scores off my OG and onto the GN???

you can use titanium backup, but it is strongly discouraged to take app data from one type of phone to a different type of phone.

I've never run into issues with installing just the data from Titanium. The app and data, yes.

So install the app from the market as usual, but only restore the data from Titanium backup. And yes, you have to be rooted on both your old and new device to do this.
